DCS offers efficient air containment solutions to separate hot and cold air in the data center; such a separation is pivotal to increasing the efficiency of climate control technology. It may be used as a hot or cold aisle containment.
Cold Air Containment
The cold air containment encloses the cold air that penetrates from the perforated tiles between the racks, preventing it from being mixed with the hot air.
Hot Air Containment
The hot air containment functions similar to the cold air containment, but encloses the hot air coming from the exhaust of the racks. This contained air will be consumed by the cooling system to be cooled down and then to be supplied back to the racks intake.
